EASILY INVITED/”Lily” and Beth
Dear Robin,
Thank you so much for all your advice and guidance. You truly have a wonderful gift of knowing what to say, how to say it, and when to say it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with me, and helping me in my decision making. I really appreciate all the time and effort you gave to me. I would recommend you to anyone looking to buy or sell a horse.
Sincerely, Beth and “Lily,” Easily Invited
Star N Hilfiger / Charlie & Lizett
Dear Robin,
I just wanted to say: “Thank You” for everything. I LOVE my Boy, and he is everything you told me he was, plus more!!! You took so much time, with me, to answer ALL my questions, and you held my hand the whole way through. Something that I really appreciated and needed, especially because this was my first pleasure horse to ever buy.
I appreciate your professionalism and your honesty. You, Julie, and the Rogers Family all worked together to make my dream come true.
Warmest Regards,
Lizett & Charlie
From Kris Perry about Her Purchase of Artful Investment
Picture was taken after Kris’s first day to ride “Artie”
“I would like to thank Robin Ray for brokering the sale of such an amazing stallion. I would also like to thank Jason Martin and Charlie Cole for the opportunity to purchase a truly once-in-a-lifetime horse. And also a big thanks to Christi Christensen for taking the time to go over all of Artie’s breeding records, show records, photos, etc. with me. Everyone involved was both professional and personable through the entire process, making such a special occasion even more so. Robin–thank you, for without your hard work and dedication I never would have had the chance to own Artie. And to Artie-thank you for putting up with a first time stallion owner and being the true gentleman and wonderful horse that you are.” Kris Perry
From Carol Carlson–Buyer of Zips Shady Chip/”Big Red”
I admit buying a Show horse sight unseen, from a thousand miles away can be a bit nerve-wracking. But it turned out great! I had called Robin Ray, told her what I was looking for, and she suggested two horses. I did a little research and went with Robin’s first choice. We could not be happier with the deal Robin negotiated on a really nice horse. My daughter won Novice Amateur HUS the first time she showed “Big Red” (47 in the class)! I would not hesitate to do business with Robin Ray/The Horse’s Agent again. She knows horses, and she knows people.

From Erin Shapiro Boatwright/Seller of ART I SWEET About working with The Horse’s Agent…
I have worked with horse agents in the past, and have never had a bad experience, but have also never had an experience as wonderful as working with Robin at The Horse’s Agent. I was blown away by the personal attention I received from Robin every step of the way. I knew selling a well known stallion was going to come with its challenges, but Robin took them all on with poise and professionalism. Robin was sensitive to the fact, that above everything, I wanted my horse’s best interest to come first. She never pushed me into a decision, but was always available to lend a professional opinion. We ended up with a sale agreement, that worked out great for me as, well as the buyer. I will definitely be using Robin in the future to sell, or buy another horse.
Sincerely, Erin Shapiro

From Dan Patton/Buyer of ART I SWEET I contacted Robin about purchasing Art I Sweet, who she represented for his owner. Robin is an extremely pleasant and helpful individual who works equally well for both parties, and does all in her power to help a deal transpire. I have never worked with an agent before, and after working with Robin, would definitely recommend her to anyone! With Robin’s help, we were able to make this purchase work for both parties, and I could not be happier.

I AM DRESSED WESTERN/”Lenny & Darlene
After a long and exhaustive search of dead ends, I met Robin and purchasing a new horse became a reality. Robin is a professional who started the process of looking for a horse by interviewing me first. Not sending me countless videos and hoping that I might like something. The criteria of making sure horse and rider are suited for one another is very important to her. Her moto, Happy Horses make Happy Owners is so true. I am so thankful to have been “matched” with I Am Dressed Western aka Lenny and placed with Robin Frid as a new trainer. Lenny and I have competed at a number of horse shows placing very well. Lenny and I competed at the Florida Sun Circuit and received two Reserve Circuit awards, and one Circuit award. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have a matched partner in Lenny. Without Robin Ray this would not be possible. My goal of qualifying and competing at the Bayer Select is becoming a reality.
I am thankful to Robin Ray for listening to me and finding the perfect partner in Lenny. Thanks so much for everything and “Lenny is the right one”.
Sincerely, Darlene Schwab
PARTEE MAJOR FOX/”Taft & Lisa (Seller)
If anyone is in the market to buy or sell a horse I highly recommend using Robin Ray. I have had the pleasure of knowing Robin for the past two years. In those two years, she has found me a remarkable horse “A Certain Gal” and recently sold another remarkable horse “Par Te Major Fox”. Robin will go the extra mile for the horse to find a wonderful and happy home. It is hard to find a person in the horse industry that is honest and has the utmost integrity. You won’t find a more fair and honest person in the horse selling business. Robin, thank you for all you have done for me. Finding Taft a wonderful home and being my friend. I wish you all the success in your personal and business life.
Sincerely, Lisa Hauth
SOLCITOR GENERAL/”Gus & Gretta
“I am so pleased with my purchase of “Solicitor General” (Gus) with the assistance of Robin Ray. From the very first time I talked to Robin, she was very friendly, caring and honest. She made me feel like my needs were very important to her but what impressed me the most was that she was just as concerned about making sure Gus’s needs were met by matching him to a partner that would appreciate and love him as much as everyone already in his life did. I would recommend Robin to everyone. Gus is everything I could ever hope for, beautiful, talented, sweet and so forgiving. It feels like we were perfectly matched. We went to our first show just three weeks after Gus came home with me and won the Circuit Championship in Nov Amateur Trail. I want to thank everyone in Gus’s life for all their help and support, with a special “Thanks” to Robin Ray and The Corn Family for allowing me the opportunity to purchase Gus. I am looking forward to the 2009 show season and many years to follow with Gus.
Sincerely, Gretta Baker
A NAUGHTY PINE/Midge & Deborah
“Robin did an awesome job of listening to what type horse I wanted, and then matching “A Naughty Pine” (Midge) and I together. Midge is exactly the horse I needed and we “clicked” right away. We placed first under all judges in our first AQHA show and were circuit champions at our second AQHA show. I would recommend Robin to anyone trying to find a horse; as she goes beyond just “selling” you a horse–she takes the time, and energy to find a horse you will not regret buying; and is totally honest, and upfront about the horse’s history..no surprises on down the road. I know about her honesty firsthand, because she has also sold a horse for me; the vet records were opened up to prospective buyers because of Robin’s insistence on total honesty. The new owners of this horse are so enchanted with her they have called me several times and have told me: “Clus Melodious Beat” (Melody) will have a home here for the rest of her life!!”
Sincerely, Deborah Flowers
A GOOD SELECTION/”Buster” & Rachel
“Buster” (A Good Selection) is doing awesome, and is loving his life. I’m loving him to death! We are actually headed to a show this weekend. We got reserve high point for the end of the year awards. Won myself a few belt buckles and trophies.
However; now I feel he is ready to teach someone else the ropes. I have been looking into possibly selling him and getting a nice young (2/3/4) prospect to keep me busy. He is just so amazing but his true calling is a teacher. And he has taught me SOOOO much! I won’t be sad if he doesn’t go. . .so I’m not advertising him anywhere yet, and if I don’t find the perfect situation–he will stay with me, and I will keep showing him as an Ammy. I will be VERY picky where he goes. Here are a few pictures from recent shows. He is truly a joy, and I am forever grateful to you, Robin for making “Buster”, and I partners.
Sincerely, Rachel Preston
Clus Melodious/”Melody” & Steve
Robin, we are very pleased, and Sarah is very happy with her new horse; “Clus Melodious Beat” (Melody). They competed in their first show, and were very successful. They won two seconds in Performance Halter, a 3rd, and 4th in 13 and under, Walk/Trot with a class of 12.
Sarah’s little seven year-old friend competed for her first time in Showmanship with “Melody”, and won two firsts. She had never competed in any horse show, or even seen “Melody.”
Everything you told us Robin has come true, and we are very happy with our purchase of “Melody”, and I would recommend you to anyone, whether first time, or professional.
Sincerely Steve Monkres
